TWO SUPERB MUSICAL EVENINGS AT THE NEW WEST END
David Fisher
Both the Olde Tyme Music Hall Evening on Saturday 25th January, and the Purim entertainment on Monday 17th March were extremely cheerful and musical occasions in the life of the New West End.
The Musical Hall evening, chaired by our very own Master of Ceremonies, Melvyn Lux, was a great success with a full house, and showcasing much talent that delighted and entertained. The audience of course was in good voice, belting out the well-known Musical Hall songs and generally entering with great gusto in to the spirit of this splendid evening.
Purim gave the opportunity for the younger members of the shul to show their talents and what talents they are! It was a delightful evening, and we are fortunate to have so many children with so many skills on so many different instruments.
Photographs from both evenings can be viewed on the Shul website by clicking on the following link: www.newwestend.org.uk/musichall/mhallpics.htm.
Both evenings were enlivened by the presence of delicious food, and our thanks as always go to Anne Shisler and her enthusiastic team for their considerable efforts.
